Course Assessments

The Computerised Accounts for Sage 50 Accounts course contains two primary forms of assessment:

  • Multiple Choice Tests
  • Competency Test

Multiple Choice Tests

At the end of each module across level 1, 2 and 3 you will take a multiple choice test to assess your knowledge and understanding of the particular module. Each multiple choice test will consist of 10 questions that will merely refresh your memory of the module content.

The results from the end of module tests are weighted 30% towards your final grade per level.

Competency Test

The competency test is the final assessment for the course at each level consisting of 50 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. The competency test contains a series of true or false questions, multiple choice questions, drag and drop scenarios, sequence combinations, completing sentences and identifying correct instances. A minimum pass mark of 40% is required to achieve the award at each level. A practice competency test is available to all students before taking the final test at level 1, 2 and 3.

The results from the competency test are weighted 70% towards your final grade per level.

Unlimited Exam Testing

If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt at the final assessment test you can review the course materials and take the assessment again for a second sitting at no extra charge. This course comes with a complete exam pass guarantee. You can take the test an unlimited number of times until you pass, which is included in the price.
